Jarrell Miller was set to face Jared Anderson in a battle of the Big Babies on the undercard of Canelo vs Terence Crawford.
Last time out, Jarrell ‘Big Baby’ Miller fought to a draw against Andy Ruiz on the undercard of Terence Crawford vs Israil Madrimov.
It has now been almost two and a half years since Miller last won a fight, having stopped Lucas Browne in March 2023, before losing to Daniel Dubois and drawing with Ruiz.
Jared ‘Big Baby’ Anderson, meanwhile, got back to winning ways a few months ago against a low-level opponent after being stopped by Martin Bakole last year.
With both men looking to truly return to winning form, a fight between them made sense, and was scheduled for the undercard of Canelo vs Crawford.
Now, though, the fight has been axed, and Miller is struggling to find a replacement.

Jarrell Miller blasts Deontay Wilder for refusing to replace Jared Anderson
In a post on social media shared by FightHubTV, Miller recorded himself launching into a scathing critique of both Anderson and Deontay Wilder.
Miller said, “Jared Anderson has officially pulled out of the fight. We all saw it coming. […] We kind of figured that Jared was gonna pull that s—.”
He went on, “Deontay Wilder’s a punk. They offered Deontay Wilder the fight, and Deontay says I talk too much s—, I’m disrespectful, blah blah blah. You’s the biggest p—- I’ve ever seen in my life, bro. We’re fighters, bro.”
Wilder just recently made his comeback to boxing after over a year out of the sport following his KO loss to Zhilei Zhang. He defeated Tyrrell Herndon in a mediocre performance, dragging the low-level opponent seven rounds before the ref had seen enough.
Wilder previously claimed he would fight Miller as a result of his dislike for him, so this 180-degree turn is unexpected.
Miller maintained that he would remain on the card, just against a different opponent. With Wilder and Anderson out of the picture, it’s unclear who could be in line to face Big Baby.
The American has had multiple fights fall apart recently. Miller withdrew from a fight with Derek Chisora, and then again from a fight with Fabio Wardley, and has now had his opponent withdraw in Anderson.
Jarrell Miller weighed almost 100lbs more than his toughest opponent
Miller’s career heaviest weight came in 2022 when he faced Ariel Bracamonte. He weighed in at 341.75lbs or 155 kilograms.
In his fight with Browne, he weighed slightly less, at 333lbs, and in his next fight against Daniel Dubois, he weighed the same.
Dubois, though, weighed 239lbs, meaning Miller weighed a whopping 94lbs more than Dubois on the night of their fight.
This didn’t stop the hungry Brit, who was eager to prove himself after his loss to Oleksandr Usyk, and eventually worked in his favor, as he was able to stop a tired Miller in the final eight seconds of the fight.
