Jake Paul won a lopsided unanimous decision over a former world champion in Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in his latest outing.
Jake Paul delivered an impressive performance, albeit against a past-his-best opponent, as he outpointed Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. to pick up the 12th win of his career.
On the undercard, cruiserweight world champion Gilberto ‘Zurdo’ Ramirez defeated Yuniel Dorticos, and Paul has since expressed an interest in making a fight with the champion.
His coach, though, reveals there is one thing he must do before taking on such a challenge.

Jake Paul must work on his energy levels before facing Zurdo, coach says
In an interview with Pro Boxing Fans, Theo Chambers, Paul’s coach, assessed his performance in the Chavez fight, giving him a ‘B’ score for his work.
He then went on to discuss the possibility of the Zurdo fight, and what weaknesses he sees in Zurdo, who retired Joe Smith Jr., as a fighter.
“Zurdo is tougher than Chavez, but he’s slow, and we’ll work on Jake’s conditioning a little more, to where he’s stronger going the later rounds all the way through instead of having spikes up and down. That’s something I noticed and something we need to work on.”
Paul won the first seven rounds on every scorecard, and won the eighth on two cards. He unanimously lost round nine, and two judges had him losing round 10.
Jake Paul called out a heavyweight and a lightweight in the same breath
After his win over Chavez, many are wondering what’s next for Paul, whose run in boxing doesn’t seem likely to go away anytime soon.
‘The Problem Child’ called out a few names, bizarrely from all different weight classes.
Of course, Zurdo was one of those, but others include Anthony Joshua, who Paul called out a while ago, putting social media into a frenzy, and Gervonta Davis, a man who last weighed in 66 pounds below Paul’s last weigh-in.
He has also spent much time calling out Canelo Alvarez, who is also multiple divisions below and almost 30 pounds lighter.
