Jake Paul vows to ‘fold’ Gervonta Davis with brutal knockout in Netflix mismatch fight: ‘He’s been running’

Officially set to make his return against current world champion Gervonta Davis, the outspoken Jake Paul has launched a bold prediction.

Set to compete in an exhibition fight with WBA lightweight gold holder Gervonta Davis as soon as November, the polarizing Jake Paul will take on a current world championship boxer for the first time in his new career in the sport.

And with his exhibition return now slated, Paul has put a long-mooted heavyweight fight with former champion Anthony Joshua on the backburner.

Not to be deterred by the switch-up in opponent, Paul has provided a huge prediction for his fight with the Maryland knockout star.

Supremely confident ahead of the matchup with Davis, Paul has claimed a pairing with the Baltimore striker has been in the works for quite some time.

To boot, the Ohio influencer has no reservations about offering an early prediction for the clash — vowing to score a devastating knockout win over Davis when they lock horns.

“He’s (Gervonta Davis) been running that third-grade mouth for years now, saying I need to fight a real boxer. Well, little man, congratulations. You got your wish,” Paul said on his YouTube channel.

“Tank has been beating people up my size for ages. Since everyone thinks size doesn’t matter, I want you all to keep that same energy when I fold Tank in half,” Paul explained.

Fans rip Jake Paul over Gervonta Davis booking

Rustling some feathers in the boxing community with his booking against Davis, Paul has been bashed on social media in the time since the confirmation of the clash.

With the pairing with Joshua falling to the wayside, too, the Watford native has been urged to switch focus from a bizarre matchup with Paul and take on a fellow former heavyweight champion instead.

But when it comes to Paul, given his sheer size and height advantage when compared to Davis, he has been incessantly labelled a “weight bully” for accepting the controversial pairing.
