‘It isn’t about the money’… Jake Paul insider teases potential clash with heavyweight superstar Anthony Joshua

Jake Paul’s business partner claims he’s seriously interested in fighting heavyweight superstars Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer recently made his heavyweight debut as he outpointed 58-year-old ring legend Mike Tyson at AT&T Stadium in Texas on November 15.

Since then, he’s leaked a direct message from Dubois, who offered him the chance to fight for the IBF heavyweight title he defended by knocking out Anthony Joshua in September.

Most Valuable Promotion’s co-founder Nakisa Bidarian says Dubois and Joshua are both realistic options moving forward.

Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua?

Jake Paul intends to ‘test the limits of what’s possible’ during his boxing career.

The 27-year-old has built his 11-1 record by beating old, undersized, and underprepared opponents – but he claims to want to fight the very best moving forward.

“Jake’s feedback to me was I want to do that fight,” Bidarian said of Dubois during an interview with Sky Sports. “Not now. But I want to do that fight.

“To be a world champion at cruiserweight, he wants to do that. The other is to test the limits of expectations. Test the limits of what’s possible.

“This event with Mike Tyson, that tested the limits of what was possible for the world to see and him fighting Anthony Joshua or Daniel Dubois is kind of the same thing.

“Jake weighed in at 227lbs but really he walks around at 215. But he’ll do it for the right environment, the right framework.

“It isn’t about the money. He’s made lots of money from the time he was 18 years old. It’s really about disruption.

“It’s really about doing things that make you say: ‘Wow, that really happened.’ That’s what excites us.”

Jake Paul wants Canelo Alvarez next

A drop down in weight appears to be imminent for Jake Paul.

The former Disney star hopes to face one of the pound-for-pound best boxers on the planet at cruiserweight next.

In a recent episode of his BS w/ Jake Paul podcast, Paul acknowledged he might be biting off more than he can chew in a potential clash with Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez.

“Generally, everyone’s biggest critique is ‘Fight a pro! Fight someone your age!’,” he said.

“So, when I said Canelo is the person, then everyone hates on that…wouldn’t the best opportunity to see me lose be going up against Canelo?

“People won’t be satisfied with my career until I get f***ing flatlined…one of the best to ever do it, a legend, pound-for-pound great… yeah, it’s gonna be an insane fight.

“It’s gonna be hard as f***. I might get my a** beat and flatlined. But let’s f***ing find out!”
