Ahead of his controversial fight against Mike Tyson this coming Friday, Jake Paul has claimed he knew he was going to fight the heavyweight legend after an eye-opening ayahuasca ceremony.
After almost a year of build-up and an entirely different fight being made in the meantime, Jake Paul and Mike Tyson are finally set to face off in the ring this coming Friday, November 15.
The two were scheduled to fight back in June, however, after the 58-year-old suffered an ulcer flare-up whilst on a flight, the fight was postponed to a later date.
Jake Paul knew he was going to fight Mike Tyson after an ayahuasca ceremony
When their original fight was postponed, instead of not fighting at all, ‘The Problem Child’ decided to take a fight against former UFC fighter turned BKFC star, Mike Perry.

‘Platinum’ Perry was seen by the fans as the 27-year-old’s toughest boxing opponent thus far, considering his constant push-forward fight style and incredible chin.
Despite that, Paul knocked the brawler out in the sixth round, allowing him to go ahead with his fight against Tyson.
Ahead of their controversial clash, the two sat down this past Sunday for a face-to-face interview, in which things remained cordial and respectful, with Paul even gifting Tyson a pigeon.
During the sit-down, the YouTuber turned boxer admitted that he knew he was going to eventually fight Tyson after an eye-opening ayahuasca ceremony he attended.
Ayahuasca is a plant-based psychedelic that can alter a person’s thinking and can cause a person to hallucinate and see things that don’t actually exist.
Between the two of them, Tyson is most well-known for his experience with ‘magic mushrooms’ and Marijuana, and the 58-year-old even admitted that he will likely be on ‘residue of mushrooms’ for his fight against Paul.
“Man, he’s a legend, this is the guy, one of the two most famous boxers to ever live, him and Muhammad Ali, this is a dream come true for me,” Paul said when asked what it means to fight Tyson.
“(It means) everything (to boxing) man. This all came from an ayahuasca ceremony, when I saw this happening I saw the butterfly effect of every kid going into the gym the next day wanting to be like me or Mike.
“700 million people watching on Netflix and the impact this will have on the sport is unfathomable,” Paul continued.
Mike Tyson claims boxing will never see anything like this fight again
Despite the fight being highly controversial because of the huge 31-year age gap between the two fighters, it is set to be one of the biggest sporting events of all time with it streaming live on Netflix.
With that, ‘Iron’ Mike, who has been involved in some of the sport’s biggest-ever fights, believes that boxing will never see a fight as big as this ever again.
“To be honest, boxing has never seen anything like this before in the history of boxing. Since it began 250 years ago, it’s never seen anything like this and probably never will,” Tyson claimed.
