Jai Opetaia has named one undisputed champion he’d like to face, and it isn’t Oleksandr Usyk.
Jai Opetaia demolished an unimpressive Claudio Squeo in five rounds and is now, once again, seeking a unification fight next.
Opetaia’s issue seems to be that nobody wants to fight him, though his goal remains becoming an undisputed cruiserweight champion.
He spoke in an interview on his future, including hints at a move up to heavyweight, and one mega-fight with a boxing star.

Jai Opetaia wants to fight Dmitry Bivol in mega-fight
In an interview with Sporting News Australia, Opetaia, whose jaw was broken by Mairis Briedis, spoke on his goals and his future:
“There’s no better than undisputed. Once we do that, we can focus on going to bridgerweight or heavyweight, you know, there’s another two categories that I can, you know, win world titles, so a three-division champion sounds good to me.”
He continued: “Maybe even a super fight with Bivol or something coming up.”
First and foremost, Opetaia is seeking a unification with Gilberto Ramirez, though it remains to be seen if a mega-fight with the light-heavyweight champion could one day be on the cards.
Jai Opetaia’s rival will fight on Jake Paul’s undercard
Jake Paul is set to face Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in his return to the ring after defeating an aged and weathered Mike Tyson last time out.

Chavez Jr. has a record of 54-6-1, but has just one win in four years, against a 1-0 fighter.
On the undercard, Gilberto Ramirez will make his first world title defense against Yuniel Dorticos.
The winner may, hopefully, face Opetaia, who wasn’t paid until his 20th fight, in a unification next.
