Fabio Wardley will face Justis Huni in his homecoming fight in Ipswich, England, after Jarrell Miller withdrew with injury.
Fabio Wardley hopes to extend his unbeaten record to 19-0-1 with a win over Justis Huni on Saturday night.
Huni is levels ahead of Wardley in terms of amateur pedigree, but has yet to test himself on the big stage, with his best win seeing the Aussie wobbled by Kevin Lerena just last year.
Wardley, meanwhile, comes off a decimation of Frazer Clarke in their much-anticipated rematch.
Ahead of their fight, though, some unfavorable sparring footage of Huni has leaked, and Wardley has had his say on it.

Fabio Wardley reacts to leaked footage of Justis Huni being KO’d in sparring
In an interview with The Ring, Wardley, who destroyed Eric Molina, was asked about the footage of Huni, which leaked years ago but has recently resurfaced.
The footage shows Huni wobbled and seemingly out on his feet, despite wearing headgear, in a sparring session.
Wardley said of the footage: “It’s nothing new. Yeah, he gets caught and gets hurt, and goes over. I don’t know if there’s really anything at all to take from it other than he got caught and he got hurt, and ultimately that can happen to all of us.”
It seems Wardley hasn’t put too much stock into the footage, but believes he can beat Huni, who survived a drive-by shooting, either way.
Justis Huni KO’d Joseph Parker’s 35th opponent in his first fight
Huni, who was a stellar 35-2 amateur, turned pro in 2020 with a fight against 13-1-1 Faiga Opelu.
Huni had beaten Opelu once as an amateur, but did so in more destructive fashion in their pro encounter.

The Aussie defeated Opelu via seventh-round stoppage, and it was only three fights later that Opelu faced Joseph Parker.
Parker was on the comeback trail after his loss to Joe Joyce, and decimated Opelu in just one round.
