Just days out from his massive return to the ring, unbeaten challenger Moses Itauma could soon find himself in and amongst gold at the heavyweight limit.
Putting his unbeaten 12-0 record on the line this weekend in the Middle East, emerging prospect Itauma will take on former interim WBC heavyweight champion Dillian Whyte in the biggest high-profile fight of his young career so far.

However, Itauma has already been lined up for some major fights should he take out the veteran contender.

And now, a potential world championship fight has presented itself to the Slovak-born challenger against another stalwart star.
Moses Itauma linked to Joseph Parker title showdown
So far struggling to land himself a title fight against the undisputed Oleksandr Usyk as of yet, WBO challenger Joseph Parker believes he may have to go through Itauma first before charging against the Ukrainian.

To boot, the Kiwi’s promoter has played up the chances of Parker fighting Itauma — especially if he gets through Whyte this weekend — with the WBO title potentially up for grabs.
“In terms of what is next, Joseph (Parker) has never shied away from anyone. Be it [Deontay] Wilder, Zhilei Zhang, [Martin] Bakole at short notice,” David Higgins told Sky Sports.
“I think Joseph will fight Moses Itauma, it’s just a matter of when,” Higgins explained. “Moses is young and doesn’t have the resume that Joseph has.
“So it’s just how the cards fall and whether it’s the right move.”
Moses Itauma weighs up future Oleksandr Usyk
And ahead of his return against Whyte, Itauma has already landed himself in the conversation of a showdown with the above-mentioned Usyk.
Backed by his coach to accept a pairing with Usyk if ever offered, Itauma recently provided an update on his chances of fighting the champion.
“It’s not down to me,” Itauma told The Stomping Ground.
“Fights don’t happen because I want them to happen. Fights happen because my promotional team, my management, and fans — that’s what they want to happen — it’s not really down to me, to be honest.”
