Oleksandr Usyk vs Daniel Dubois 2 will top a stacked night of boxing as the pair fight for the undisputed crown.

Oleksandr Usyk hopes to do the double on Daniel Dubois as he did on Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury, though the young Brit won’t go down without a fight, and is brimming with confidence as he gets a second chance at the Ukrainian.

Frampton was more on the fence with his prediction, “He has a better chance, he’s a different fighter than the first Usyk fight. We’ve seen him weather the storm. I don’t know, it’s almost like he’s grown up. […] Does Usyk find a way because he’s a genius and he always does or does this reinvigorated Dubois get the job done? I’m not sure yet.”

Anthony Joshua and Moses Itauma‘s head trainer, Davison, praised Dubois’ recent surge in confidence but questions whether it will be enough to beat his Ukrainian foe.

“I think that more than anything, Daniel’s belief will be higher. But it’s really hard to implement whatever it is Daniel wants to implement against Usyk.”

Speaking to TalkSport, Eubank Jr. suggested that his prediction was based on Usyk stating he thought Benn had won in their April fight.

“If that’s true then I’m lowkey rooting for Dubois. […] He’s coming off of a massive win against AJ. Usyk’s also on a roll.”

“I think it’s gonna come down to who is more mentally prepared.”

Allen believes the timing of the fight is key for Dubois’ chances of success, “I just think it’s about timing, really. Oleksandr Usyk’s nearing 40 […] I don’t think he’s a heavyweight.”

“This is the right time for Daniel Dubois to beat Usyk.”

Haye said, “If Dubois can really impose himself and don’t get involved in a boxing match he has got a shot.”

“Think of the training camps [Usyk] had to have to fight [AJ & Fury], the big guys he was sparring. I know what it’s like sparring big guys, it takes a lot out of you. Has he taken too much out of himself?”

“[Dubois] has a massive shot but how do you bet against someone whose never lost?”
