Canelo is gearing up for a pound-for-pound clash against Terence Crawford on Netflix this September.
Canelo and Terence Crawford came face to face recently ahead of their mega-fight in September.
Though Canelo must first get past Crawford, who is moving up two weight classes to face him for the undisputed super-middleweight crown, there has been much speculation about what may come next for the Mexican.

Canelo open to facing Hamzah Sheeraz in the UK
In an interview with talkSport, Canelo was asked about whether he would fight in the UK before retiring:
“It would be a pleasure to fight there, we’ll see after this.”
Gareth A. Davies then asks: “If Hamzah Sheeraz beats Edgar Berlanga would you come and fight Sheeraz in the UK?”
Canelo, who set a drab record against William Scull, responded: “It’s a possibility, why not?”
Sheeraz fought to a controversial draw with Carlos Adames in his last fight, and Berlanga has had one win since losing to Canelo.
Another name Canelo has been mentioned alongside regarding a UK fight is Chris Eubank Jr., who has reportedly been told that he will land the Canelo fight if he beats Conor Benn for a second time.
It seems, at this stage in Canelo’s career, that there are not too many options for Canelo to face left, and a UK fight is more than possible.
Canelo Alvarez wants the KO against Terence Crawford
When asked whether he would attempt to get the knockout against Crawford, Canelo, who rates Crawford highly, said:
“I always go there with my man and try to knock him out, so if I have the opportunity to do it I’m going to do it.”

Canelo has not scored a KO win since 2021, when he defeated Caleb Plant in the 11th round.
He has gone the distance with his last seven opponents.
