Ahead of his return to the ring this weekend, Darren Till already has sights set on a December return against a rival compatriot.
Making his third professional boxing outing tonight in Manchester, former UFC welterweight title challenger Darren Till will headline Misfits Boxing 22 against former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold in a grudge match.

And sharing a tense rivalry with Californian veteran Rockhold in the run-up to their headliner in Manchester, Till was corralled by security personnel following back-and-forths at both pre-fight press conferences and weigh-ins.

But despite having his hands full with Rockhold, Till has already laid out plans for a December return against a British former super middleweight world champion.
Darren Till offers Carl Froch a showdown in December
Sharing a rather lengthy feud with former WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch across social media in recent years, Liverpool mixed martial arts fighter Till still hopes to face the Nottingham native in the near future.
And hoping to lure the British star back to the ring for the first time since his 2014 retirement, Till has urged Froch to meet him under the Misfits Boxing umbrella as soon as the end of this year.
“I was ready to fight Carl Froch for this fight [at Misfits Boxing 22],” Till told IFL TV. “But Carl Froch turned round to DAZN and said he needs 12 months.
“I’m ready to fight Carl Froch in December,” Till explained. “And I know the hurdles and the obstacles to fight Carl Froch, but I’m ready to fight him in December.”
Darren Till promises ‘war’ against Luke Rockhold
And hoping to catapult himself into a December return, Till has claimed either he or Rockhold will suffer a knockout loss this weekend in Manchester.

Furthermore, vowing to return to training just weeks after this fight, the former UFC star has claimed that if both emerge with their consciousness intact, they will have put on a six-round “war” for the fans to watch regardless.
“Either one of us is getting knocked out, or it’s a six-round war,” Till explained. “So, that’s all I’ve got to say on that — I’ve got no message for him (Luke Rockhold) because I know he’s going to bring it anyway.”
