‘I think Dillian Whyte will surprise people’… Fan favorite believes Moses Itauma is in for a very tough challenge

Dillian Whyte could give Moses Itauma an extremely hard fight, says one boxing star.

The veteran will go to war with the most frightening prospect in the sport on August 16 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

While ‘The Body Snatcher’ is far more experienced than the 20-year-old, most are expecting him to lose, with Lawrence Okolie predicting Itauma will destroy Whyte.

However, a fellow heavyweight believes the former WBC interim world champion has every chance of upsetting the apple cart.

Dillian Whyte can beat Moses Itauma, says Dave Allen

Dave Allen is edging towards Moses Itauma in his upcoming fight with Dillian Whyte.

However, he wouldn’t be shocked if the underdog managed to shock the world.

In an interview with Seconds Out, Allen explained: “He has a lot of experience, he can punch. I wouldn’t be surprised if Whyte puts up a very good performance and he’s more than capable of putting one on Itauma’s chin and winning the fight.

“I don’t think it’s as cut and dry as people think it is. But I also think Itauma’s as good as people say he is.

“I’m gonna go for Itauma mid-to-late stoppage, but I think Dillian Whyte is going to surprise people.

“I think he’s going to turn up in shape, I think he’s going to be hungry and sharp, and I think it’s going to be a harder fight than people think.”

Dillian Whyte dropped a former world champion with a granite chin

Whyte certainly isn’t the favorite in his clash with Itauma.

However, he’s taken on opponents with superior skill to him in the past and come out on top.

In a tremendous display, Whyte dropped an ex-world champion with a granite chin.
