Tyson Fury describes Deontay Wilder’s punch power in four words

From George Foreman to Mike Tyson, the heavyweight division has given some of the heaviest-handed competitors the sport has ever seen an opportunity to showcase their thunderous power.

However, of all the men to have set foot in a ring, many believe nobody has ever launched a shot quite like Deontay Wilder.

Tyson Fury went down twice in the first fight, with every single person in the arena believing he was out cold in the twelfth round, before he miraculously managed to return to his feet.

In the second bout, he dominated Wilder, but in the third, the Alabama brawler reminded everyone of just how ferocious he really is.

Despite the Englishman looking on the cusp of a finish, in the fourth round, the former WBC champion hit him with a shot so ferocious it sent literal shockwaves through his body.

Moments later, Fury hit the canvas again, and was ultimately saved by the bell. Subsequently, the 6ft9 giant had to call on all his years of experience to navigate his way through a minefield to secure the victory.

While the slick boxer came away from the trilogy without sustaining a loss, he still gives Wilder enormous credit, telling talkSPORT that his nemesis has: “Dynamite in his fists.”

In the aftermath of their second fight, the defeated boxer abruptly announced his retirement from the sport.

And now, Fury has finally broken his silence.
