Chris Eubank Jr. vs Conor Benn is set to be one of the biggest fights in British boxing history as the two rivals finally meet.
Originally scheduled to fight one another in 2022, Eubank Jr. and Benn will step into the ring for the first time with one another on April 26th, 2025. Meeting at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the sons of Chris Eubank and Nigel Benn will perform in front of thousands in London.
The build-up to the fight has been intense. With Eubank Jr. smashing an egg on Benn’s face, the pair have exhibited a clear dislike for one another.
Although there is no clear favorite in the fight, one former champion gave his prediction for the grudge match.

Liam Smith picks former opponent Chris Eubank Jr. to beat Conor Benn
Having a brace of fights with Eubank Jr. in 2023, few men may be able to provide more insight into his meeting with Benn than Liam Smith.
The former world champion dropped his WBO World Super Welterweight title in 2016, losing to Canelo Alvarez. Seven years later, he would begin his rivalry with Eubank Jr.
Despite showing a clear dislike towards the son of the former champion Eubank, Smith picked him to defeat his rival.
Speaking to Boxing News, Smith was asked for his prediction for Benn vs Eubank Jr. “I’m not 100% on the winner, but I’ll probably [go with] Chris on points,” Smith said.
When asked for his reasoning, Smith said, “Just size-wise, Conor is small. I think Chris might rob a points win, if that makes sense.”
Smith would then go on to add that he feels as if Eubank Jr. has changed his style, opting for a more passive approach. “He’s not the Chris of old, where everyone makes out that he loves a fight… I think he’s very cagey, jabs a lot.”
The former world champion feels that this approach from Eubank Jr. ‘wouldn’t give Benn a chance’.

Liam Smith and Chris Eubank Jr. have one win apiece in their fight series
Fighting each other on two occasions in 2023, both Smith and Eubank Jr. have a win over one another. However, a trilogy match has not since occurred.
With both fights happening in Manchester, Smith was the victor of their first meeting. Winning the fight with a fourth-round stoppage, it was the 33rd win of Smith’s career.
Rematching eight months later, Eubank Jr. got revenge on Smith. Winning the bout in the 10th round, Eubank Jr. was victorious against his fellow countryman.
Now, the two will share a huge card on April 26th in London. Smith will be aiming to deal Irish fighter Aaron McKenna (19-0) the first defeat of his career in a middleweight bout.
