‘He’s one of the most dangerous guys in the world…’ Jake Paul warned against Anthony Joshua mega fight

Appearing to inch closer toward an uber showdown with Anthony Joshua, Jake Paul has been warned to be careful what you wish for against the Watford star.

Seemingly closing in on a blockbuster showdown with former world champion Joshua — potentially as soon as the British star’s return to the ring — Paul is currently the “front runner” to fight the former, according to his promoter Eddie Hearn.

But praised nonetheless for putting his name forward to fight the former dominant gold holder, Paul has been strongly warned about taking the fight, if it comes to fruition.

Jake Paul warned away from ‘dangerous’ Anthony Joshua fight

Himself turning in career win number twelve earlier this summer, Paul took home a dominant win over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. over the course of ten rounds — turning in a unanimous decision win over the former world champion.

But taking on someone like Joshua could prove detrimental to the brief career of Ohio puncher, Paul, according to an esteemed head coach.

“I think it’s [the fight with Joshua] really dangerous,” Ben Davison told The Ring. “He (Joshua) is one of the most dangerous guys in the world to go and step in a ring with.

“You saw what he did to (Francis) Ngannou,” Davis explained. “Who is one of the most durable men on the planet.”

However, Davison isn’t the only figure in the boxing world to warn Paul away from a potential fight with Joshua.

Making no bones about Paul’s chances of facing Joshua next, Matchroom Boxing leader Hearn has claimed a showdown with the Olympian is far more dangerous than any prior fights for Paul.

Including a showdown with the iconic Mike Tyson, Ohio native Paul has been warned by Hearn that he isn’t in the world of YouTube or Disney if he shares the squared circle with Joshua.

“This is a step too far [for Paul],” Hearn told the BBC. “So, be careful what you wish for, because this isn’t a game. This isn’t YouTube.

“This isn’t Disney,” Hearn continued. “This is the danger zone.”
