Chris Eubank Jr.’s cousin has admitted that he has not been paid what he is owed by the middleweight star.
Harlem Eubank is set for the biggest test of his career to date as he faces Tyrone McKenna on Friday in Brighton.
Despite his five losses, McKenna has fought high-level competition in Regis Prograis and Ohara Davies, and McKenna has long been a sparring partner for Jaron Ennis.
Eubank, whose uncle Chris Eubank Sr has revealed the insult that cost him a world title to Steve Collins, said that fighting in Brighton meant a lot to him due to his family’s connection with the place, though later revealed that his cousin may not be a man of his word.

Harlem Eubank comments on Chris Eubank Jr.s promise – “I need to send him an invoice”
Chris Eubank Jr. will face Conor Benn on April 26th in one of the biggest domestic fights the country has seen for a while. The fight was originally scheduled in 2022 but due to issues with Benn’s alleged use of PEDs it did not go forward.
The fight hopes to continue the legacy of Chris Eubank, who now serves as in the Louisiana police department, vs Nigel Benn, however, Eubank Sr has refused to get involved. Billy Joe Saunders claims this is due to an altercation between Eubank Jr. and Sr.
In a press conference for the fight, Eubank Jr. had one issue with how things were handled the first time round, stating that the undercard fighters were not paid due compensation for their fights being cancelled.
Promoter Eddie Hearn said how each fighter did fight within a few months of the canceled card, but Eubank Jr. still promised £50,000 from his purse to be split amongst the original undercard fighters, which featured the likes of Felix Cash, Galal Yafai, and Harlem Eubank.
In an interview with Pro Boxing Fans, Harlem was asked if Eubank Jr. had paid him his share yet, to which he responded jokingly:
“Nah, I don’t think he realizes I was on the original card. I need to send him an invoice.”
Harlem Eubank says Chris Eubank Jr. vs Conor Benn is a “mismatch”
When asked in the same interview for a prediction on the Eubank vs Benn fight, Harlem said:
“I think it’ll be a mismatch […] Just as much of a mismatch as the pressers have been. It’ll be a similar format playing out in the physical.”

Harlem, who was once in talks to face Adam Azim, is backing his cousin all the way, saying: “Chris is way too much.”
Harlem’s record sits at 20-0, with eight knockouts to his name, though 24-5-1 McKenna may pose a real challenge this weekend.
