Queensbury Promotions is set to embark on a new and exciting chapter throughout 2025.
Frank Warren’s promotion announced in November that DAZN will be the new home of Queensbury starting in April and the year is looking strong so far.
On February 10, the first three cards that will air live on the streaming platform were announced with some big names and bouts heading to Manchester, Nottingham and Glasgow.
This new partnership also means that Queensbury will now be on the same platform as Oscar De La Hoya’s Golden Boy Promotions as well as their frequent rivals in Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing.
Just because they’re now batting for the same team in some regards doesn’t mean that the likes of Warren and Hearn are going to be any less competitive with one another.

Frank Warren says that rival promotions need to catch up with them now that they’re on DAZN
Other promoters may have a more established foothold when it comes to hosting events on DAZN but that doesn’t change Frank Warren’s opinion. He believes that Queensbury arriving on the platform means that there is a new top dog in town and he’s more than happy to remind them of that.
In a recent interview with The Stomping Ground, Warren made his stance clear on the fact that Queensbury events will now be shoulder-to-shoulder with their biggest competition. “They’ll all have to catch up with us,” he jibed.
He elaborated on this point by speaking about the benefit that this move has for the fans and why this won’t change their constant battle to be the number one promotion.
Queensbury and Matchroom may have worked together more in recent times than ever before but that hasn’t changed their mentality.
Of course, Warren also got a quick dig in about the Queensbury vs. Matchroom 5v5 event that took place last June where his stable of fighters won a clean sweep.
“I just look at experience,” he continued. “To be quite honest, I just look at 5v5. I’m joking, I’ve got to tease him. It’s good for the fans because it’s one subscription so we’re all on the same channel, it’s one subscription. We’re promoters, we’re competitive people.
“Eddie’s a very competitive guy, a very hardworking guy. Oscar’s competitive, he was a fighter, come on. We’re going to have some fantastic fights between our companies and we’re very proud in what we do, all of us, we all want to be the best and they’ve got to strive to be the best now we’re on there.”

Frank Warren’s Queensbury aren’t here to make up the numbers
Along with his own statements in the press, Frank Warren and Queensbury have proven that they aren’t just on DAZN to fill out the live events schedule and back catalogue.
The promotion pulled out some of the big guns in this first run of announcements by booking main event clashes between Dillian Whyte and Joe Joyce, Anthony Cacace and Leigh Wood with the return of Josh Taylor who faces Ekow Essuman up at welterweight.

Having the top promoters all under one roof is a great sign for fans and it’s clear that this won’t take away the competitive edge which is driving the likes of Warren and Hearn to put on the best possible shows that they can.
This DAZN deal isn’t just an exciting move for Queensbury, it’s a great time for fans too.
