With his future still up in the air, Dillian Whyte has been urged to strongly consider retirement off the back of his latest setback.
Stopped for the first time last weekend, veteran former WBC title challenger Dillian Whyte was beaten in brutal fashion by the surging Moses Itauma, in a one-sided first round knockout loss.

And while the Jamaican has yet to make an official announcement on his future in the ring, many have called for Whyte to weigh up stepping away from the ring.

The latest to suggest that same idea is a former foe of Whyte — who the Port Antonio native actually defeated.
Joseph Parker urges Dillian Whyte to retire
Sharing the ring with Kiwi puncher Joseph Parker back in 2018, Whyte would score a unanimous decision win over the current interim WBO heavyweight champion.
And himself hoping to secure a turnaround against undisputed heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk in the future, Parker has so far failed in his bid.

But weighing in on Whyte’s immediate plans, Parker claimed the veteran had nothing left to achieve in the sport, and had made a boatload of money — enough to retire, in fact.
“He (Dillian Whyte) says he’s not going to make a rash decision straight away,” Parker told Seconds Out after a phone call with Whyte. “He’s going to sit down with his team and his family and decide whether it’s appropriate or not. He’s done well in his career.
“He’s done everything he can in boxing, he’s achieved a lot in being (sic), he’s probably made some great money.”
With Whyte’s career still up in the air, his recent foe Itauma’s is also uncertain, albeit for completely different reasons.
Moses Itauma pressed to fight surprise contender next
Himself receiving sizeable links to a super fight with Usyk, too, the 13-0 Itauma has been on the lips of many heavyweight contenders already.

But firstly, Itauma has been urged to take on some fellow contenders at heavyweight before a title outing — namely in the form of a disgraced 340lb heavyweight who features soon.
Nevertheless, if pitted with Usyk, Itauma has been backed to shake the boxing world with a huge upset win by one of the Ukrainian’s biggest enemies, too.
