After being sat on the sidelines since his controversial win over Mike Tyson, Jake Paul has teased that his next boxing outing is close to being announced.
Since his emergence in the boxing world, Jake Paul has continuously caused controversy and split not only the fanbase but the fighters.
Although many think that ‘The Problem Child’ is good for the boxing world because of the eyes he brings to the sport, his fight against Mike Tyson seemed to bring everyone together in their criticism of him.
Since that fight last November, Tyson has admitted he still doesn’t feel 100% following their eight-round professional bout.

Jake Paul teases potential fight against Canelo Alvarez and Floyd Mayweather reacts
Ahead of his fight against Tyson, the 27-year-old stated that he wanted to fight Canelo Alvarez next which was laughed off by the majority of the boxing world.
Despite that, following his unanimous decision win and after the Mexican saw the level of success of the event, he stated that he would be interested in fighting the internet sensation turned boxer.
The Super Middleweight champion isn’t the only elite-level boxer who said they’d fight him as Light Heavyweight champion, Artur Beterbiev also claimed he would fight ‘The Problem Child’ before his rematch against Dmitry Bivol was booked.
However, Paul’s next outing is seemingly set and recent rumors suggest that it could potentially be against Alvarez.
Multiple reports have suggested that Canelo may be on the verge of finally fighting Paul in May, ahead of his next fight and he has been spoken to by Eddie Hearn ahead of the potential clash.
With that fight once again picking up steam, Floyd Mayweather‘s thoughts on the fight have once again resurfaced. ‘Money’ Mayweather has shared the ring with Canelo before, beating him back in 2013.
“Once (Jake Paul) fights a real fighter that can really fight, it’s not going to be that good. He’d get f—– up by Canelo. He’d get demolished,” Mayweather said to TMZ Sports.
Canelo Alvarez will fight Terence Crawford in September
Although rumors continue to flare regarding Paul vs Canelo, the Super Middleweight champion does have a huge fight already set for September.
As he usually does, the Mexican champion is scheduled to defend his titles on Mexican Independence Day and fans are in for a tantalizing matchup when he takes on Terence Crawford.
Despite fans salivating at the thought of that scrap, it has been slammed by Mike Tyson who is not in favor of it.
It is unclear at this time whether Canelo will take on the internet sensation ahead of his clash against ‘Bud’ Crawford, however, rumors will continue to spark until the two are face to face with each other in the ring.
