Boxing promoter Bob Arum has seen it all during his legendary career in the sport.
The Hall of Famer worked with Floyd Mayweather during his 50-0 run, which saw him win world titles in five different weight classes and establish himself as one of the best to ever do it.
Since ‘Money’ retired in 2017, Terence Crawford has become the latest US superstar.
‘Bud’ is the current pound-for-pound number one after winning world championships in four different divisions and becoming undisputed at light welterweight and welterweight.

Bob Arum predicts Floyd Mayweather vs Terence Crawford
Boxing fans love to debate matchups between old legends and the current crop of stars.
In October 2023, Arum was asked to predict Mayweather vs Crawford after working with both men.
The 93-year-old believes Crawford has something that sets him apart from his peers and the great fighters who came before him.
“Crawford,” Arum said when ES News asked him to predict the fantasy fight.
“Crawford, fighting a guy his size is unique because one thing that he has that other fighters don’t have is that he’s totally ambidextrous.
“So that when he shifts from orthodox to southpaw, he’s equally effective either way. That’s why I knew there was no contest fighting [Errol] Spence.”
Floyd Mayweather’s $20million Christmas gift
Mayweather cashed out with a $300milion fight against Conor McGregor seven years ago.
Still, he continues to take lucrative exhibition bouts against novice boxers.
It seems to be paying off as he recently dropped $20million on a Christmas gift for his three-year-old grandson.
“Guess what Papa bought you,” he said in a viral Instagram video.
“I got you a gift. Guess what I bought you. You the first kid that own a building in a diamond district in New York City. We bought you a building. Papa bought you a building.”
The pair, sporting matching pajamas, then hugged and high-fived, before the youngster proceeded to give his grandfather a teddy bear wearing a suit.
The property, located on 6th Avenue and 47th Street in Manhattan, comes complete with offices and a huge income-generating billboard.
In a statement, Mayweather said: “I used to shop in the diamond exchange as a young adult.
“I never thought I would end up owning this important property at the entrance of 47th street…
“Through hard work and dedication, anything is possible.”
