Floyd Mayweather is no stranger to confrontation, but his latest social media antics have led to a huge call-out from a former champion.
Floyd Mayweather retired after his win over Conor McGregor with a record of 50-0. His career was undeniably one of the most impressive in the sport, and he has not completely left boxing just yet.
Having had a few exhibition bouts, Mayweather remains active in the sport, which may be one reason he was called out by a fellow former champion.
Mayweather was called out by none other than Roy Jones Jr. after their online beef reached a boiling point.

Roy Jones Jr. challenges Floyd Mayweather to fight
Roy Jones Jr. recently suggested that Sugar Ray Leonard would have beaten Floyd Mayweather in a fight.
In retaliation to these comments, which obviously rattled Mayweather, the undefeated former champion published videos to his social media channels of him watching Jones Jr being knocked out by Enzo Maccarinelli and Antonio Tarver.
Since then, Jones has taken the feud one step further, and has officially called out Mayweather to a fight.
He said in a video on X, “Someone was trying to send me a subliminal message. It worked because if you want proof that you’re better than me, I’m always ready. I’m wide open. Ready to go. Just call me.”
Jones lost to MMA fighter Anthony Pettis in his latest fight, a failed comeback in 2023.
Jones recently admitted a fight with Jake Paul would be 50/50, so his callout of Mayweather, even with his physical advantages, is bizarre.
