Moses Itauma has exceeded all expectations with his one-round blitz over Dillian Whyte.
Moses Itauma snatched the heavyweight torch from Dillian Whyte, who, despite an impressive weight loss, offered nothing as the rising phenom demolished him within just 119 seconds of the opening round.
Whyte’s career may now be in tatters as all of his doubters were proven right, and ‘The Bodysnatcher’ could well have howled for the last time as he was unable to offer anything of note against the 20-year-old Brit.
After the win, Itauma called out Joseph Parker, but also named two other men he could face next.
Here are five fighters Itauma could face next after a dominant step up in opposition:

Filip Hrgovic
On Itauma’s undercard, Filip Hrgovic vowed to take David Adeleye’s soul. Whilst no knockout occurred, the Croatian ‘El Animal’ dominated the British title winner, picking up almost every single round to claim a landslide decision win.
Hrgovic has now beaten Joe Joyce and Adeleye after he suffered his first and only defeat to Daniel Dubois in 2024.
With the win, Hrgovic could well be next for Itauma, and may offer a bit more than Whyte was able to.

Joseph Parker
Perhaps the most likely candidate is Joseph Parker. A man who does not waver in the face of a challenge, the Kiwi heavyweight has wins over Deontay Wilder, Zhilei Zhang, and Martin Bakole, and is currently next in line to face Oleksandr Usyk.
As the WBO number one fighter and the WBO interim champion, Itauma and Parker may be destined to cross paths, and a fight between the two could be for a world title if Usyk relinquishes the WBO belt.

Agit Kabayel
A less likely contender, though one Itauma acknowledged also deserved his shot at the belts, Kabayel is coming off a huge win over Zhang, as he became the first man to stop ‘Big Bang’.
Kabayel now holds wins over Zhang, Frank Sanchez, and Arslanbek Makhmudov.

Oleksandr Usyk
With wins over Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua, Daniel Dubois, Tony Bellew, and a whole host of cruiserweight kings, Usyk would be the toughest test of them all, though not one Itauma has zero chance against.
Turki Alalshikh suggested Itauma vs Usyk was the fight to make, though with just 13 fights under his belt, this fight may be just too soon for the young Brit.

Martin Bakole
A less likely match-up could see Itauma take on Martin Bakole. After a loss to Parker and a draw against Efe Ajagba, Bakole is in desperate need to claw his career back from the brink of obscurity, and a win over Itauma would do just that.
Itauma, meanwhile, could add another scalp to his resume in the form of a man once touted as a huge boogeyman in the division.
Regardless of who Itauma faces next, the boxing world will be watching very closely, as the potential future champion is sure to create fireworks wherever he goes.
