Filip Hrgovic and David Adeleye delivered something special in the eighth round of their fight, with ‘El Animal’ dropping his opponent, before the Brit bounced back with an astonishing barrage of punches that nearly took the favorite off his feet.
And while Adeleye ultimately lost via a wide unanimous decision, he’ll always have something he can hold over Daniel Dubois and Zhilei Zhang.
In an interview with IFL TV, the boxer said: “He’s a good puncher. He has good power.
“I think that he caught me with better shots than Dubois, Zhang, or anybody in my career.
“So, he’s fast and has good power. It was a good fight.”

However, the two men weren’t originally meant to face each other.
There was apparently another option on the table for the former European amateur gold medallist.
Recently, Hrgovic claimed a KO artist turned down a fight offer.
