Eddie Hearn has hit back at one of his fighters after a statement about Matchroom Boxing.
Eddie Hearn has promoted some of the biggest stars in boxing in the UK and the US, including Canelo Alvarez and Anthony Joshua.
Hearn is praised by many of his fighters for providing them with huge paydays and normally a chance at winning a world title.
This isn’t enough for one of his boxers, who has claimed he is frustrated with the Matchroom boss, but Hearn has hit back.

Eddie Hearn hits back in heated rant about former world champion
Sunny Edwards got back to winning ways with a technical decision win over Adrien Curial on Saturday night in Phoenix.
The former flyweight champion suffered a horror cut but still did enough to earn himself the victory.
Edwards now looks set to face Galal Yafai in a huge clash but revealed to one reporter that he is frustrated with Matchroom after being told it may not be next.
Hearn acknowledged this and then responded in a rant to IFL TV, saying: “I’ll give you a f***ing clue, there ain’t anyone higher up than me and I’m telling you we want to make that fight next.
“If [Edwards] feels frustrated at Matchroom, he needs to give his head a shake. He signed with us, we gave him a world title shot headlining a show, he’s come over here to unify, he’s come back here as the co-main event.
“So, he’s doing just fine. As you know, no one makes the decisions above me and I want to make that fight.”
Sunny Edwards vs Galal Yafai could be for vacant WBC world title
Edwards and Yafai seem to have been on a collision course ever since the latter turned professional after winning an Olympic gold medal.
Fans were told to wait for the domestic clash by Hearn, because of hopes that the fight would be for a world title.
Now it looks like the huge match-up will finally happen after the Matchroom boss revealed that the vacant WBC title should be on the line.
“I want to make that fight [Edwards vs Yafai] and I want to make it for the WBC world title. I believe Galal [Yafai] wants the fight, Sunny [Edwards] wants the fight. Let’s get it made,” Hearn told IFL TV.
After Edwards suffered a horror cut in his contest on Saturday, fans may have to wait a little longer for the highly anticipated fight with Yafai.
The former champion is set to be out of action for three months, so the domestic fight won’t happen until at least later this year.
