Dmitry Bivol will attempt to redeem his loss to Artur Beterbiev when the two meet on February 22nd.
The Russian and Canadian first met in October of 2024, with Beterbiev winning a majority decision.
However, despite tasting his first career defeat to Beterbiev, Bivol believes he will get the victory in Saudi Arabia. The winner of the fight will be declared the undisputed cruiserweight world champion, as the IBF, IBO, WBC, and WBO belts are on the line.
The highly anticipated rematch will headline what is a stacked card in Riyadh on February 22nd, which also features fighters such as Daniel Dubois, Joseph Parker, and Shakur Stevenson.
Should Bivol’s prediction be right and he gets past Beterbiev, he has discussed some future options for his boxing career.

Dmitry Bivol welcomes Benavidez vs Morrell winner and Artur Beterbiev trilogy
Speaking to Fight Hub TV, Bivol was asked about some potential next steps in his career following a win over Beterbiev.
Initially, Bivol was asked about the David Benavidez vs David Morrell fight this Saturday.
Bivol, who Benavidez predicted to beat Beterbiev, originally stated that he had no interest in the light heavyweight title eliminator as he was focused on his own fight. “I don’t think too much about their fight because I have my own business with Beterbiev.”
However, Bivol would go on to say that making a mandatory defense against Benavidez or Morrell is a “good fight.”
When asked in the interview if a win would mean he and Beterbiev fought for a third time, Bivol said it was possible.
Implying it was largely down to whether or not an offer was made by Turki Alalshikh, Bivol also did not confirm or deny whether a trilogy bout was included in the contract.

Cruiserweight move a possibility for Dmitry Bivol
Another option for Bivol following a win over Beterbiev could be to compete in the cruiserweight division.
“Maybe I could go to cruiserweight, why not?” Bivol told Fight Hub TV.
Adding that there could be interesting fights in the cruiserweight division, Bivol also said that Alalshikh favors a move up in weight for the winner of the fight on February 22nd.
In terms of potential fights at cruiserweight, Bivol could make himself a potential opponent for Jai Opetaia or Gilberto Ramirez, who are the IBF and WBO world title holders respectively.
