Dmitry Bivol was able to amend his sole career loss in ‘The Last Crescendo’ on February 22nd.
Getting revenge over Artur Beterbiev in Saudi Arabia, the challenger was able to have a career-best performance to earn the victory, as hundreds celebrated Bivol’s win in Kyrgyzstan.
The win means Bivol’s record is now 24-1 and he has become a fully unified champion for the first time in his career.
Beterbiev’s defeat was the first of his professional career, with his record now standing at 21-1. With both fighters being one another’s sole loss, fans are calling for a trilogy between Bivol and Beterbiev.
Not only did the victory earn Bivol the title of undisputed light heavyweight champion, but he has also now joined an elite and exclusive list of fighters.

Dmitry Bivol joins the likes of Canelo Alvarez, Oleksandr Usyk on elite list
Becoming an undisputed champion in boxing is by no means an easy feat. Since the beginning of the four-belt era in 2004, only 11 men have fully unified their division.
Bivol’s achievement means he is now a member of the exclusive list of fighters, which includes light heavyweight rival Beterbiev.
Canelo Alvarez is another notable name on the list. As one of the greatest Mexican fighters of all time, he was able to unify the super middleweight division in November 2021 with a win over Caleb Plant.
Oleksandr Usyk has unified two weight divisions, both cruiserweight and heavyweight. The Ukrainian became the first many to unify the cruiserweight titles in July 2018 when he defeated Murat Gassiev.
Usyk would then become a two-time unified world champion at heavyweight, following his split-decision victory over Tyson Fury in 2024.

Who else has been an undisputed world champion?
Despite being a short list, there is no shortage of quality, elite fighters to have become a fully unified world champion.
Among some of the active members of the list include Naoya Inoue, Devin Haney, Terence Crawford, and Josh Taylor.
It is unclear as to who may become the next man to unify their division, as no fighters are currently booked to fight in an undisputed bout.
