Derek Chisora is still seeking an opponent for his 50th and final fight.
Derek Chisora‘s career has seen something of an Indian summer as he defeated Otto Wallin and Joe Joyce in his last two fights, proving that despite slowing down and looking a weathered version of his former self, he can still go toe-to-toe with some of the top forces in the division.
Chisora has long suggested that his 50th fight will be his last, meaning he is now on the look out for an opponent to share his last dance with.
One heavyweight has recently called out ‘War’ Chisora, a man who shares not just the division with him, but also the nickname.

Fabio Wardley calls out Derek Chisora for his final fight
Fabio Wardley has come off a lucky tenth-round knockout of Justis Huni after being beaten for every round leading up to it. Wardley predicted his KO of Huni days before.
The knockout saw Wardley claim the WBA interim heavyweight world title, a huge achievement for a man with no amateur experience, just four white collar bouts.
Wardley has since taken to X, calling out Chisora for his next fight saying: “WAR vs WAR”.
Who else could Derek Chisora face in his final fight?
Chisora, who is one of Usyk’s toughest fights, is certainly looking to have his final fight this year, though it’s uncertain as to when it will be.
As a result, one option may be Deontay Wilder. Though this is a fight that may have sounded like terrible matchmaking just a few years ago, Wilder has won just one of his last five fights, and failed to throw anything of note in his last two performances.

He is set to face Tyrrell Herndon at the end of the month.
Francis Ngannou is another solid option. The MMA fighter was obliterated by Anthony Joshua, but gave Tyson Fury real trouble. Facing Chisora would be the perfect way to see where Ngannou is in terms of boxing ability.
Other names include Dave Allen, who will be looking to step up after beating Johnny Fisher, though this fight would likely not be as commercially successful, or Dillian Whyte, though he’s facing Moses Itauma next, it seems.
