David Benavidez is set to return to the ring against Anthony Yarde on a stacked November 22nd card.
David Benavidez vs Anthony Yarde tops the bill on a stacked card featuring the likes of Devin Haney vs Brian Norman Jr, Bam Rodriguez vs Fernando Martinez, Sam Noakes vs Abdullah Mason, and Subriel Matias vs Dalton Smith.
‘The Mexican Monster’ has lived up to his name with a monstrous run of recent victories over David Morrell, Oleksandr Gvozdyk, Demetrius Andrade, and Caleb Plant.
His light-heavyweight campaigning could see a fairytale peak, or devastating ending, as the Mexican could face one of boxing’s fiercest champions ever in his next fight.

David Benavidez could face Artur Beterbiev if both men win upcoming fights
Another huge name on Benavidez’s undercard is Artur Beterbiev, the first-ever undisputed light-heavyweight in the four-belt era.
Beterbiev defeated Dmitry Bivol for the undisputed crown in a mega-fight pitting the two undefeated champions against one another.
In their rematch, though, Beterbiev lost the titles as Bivol returned the favor, defeating the Russian KO artist by majority decision.
A trilogy was in the works, though Beterbiev claims Bivol is avoiding him and won’t do the honorable thing of risking his belts for a third time.
He will instead face 22-1 Deon Nicholson in a comeback bout on the Benavidez vs Yarde card. Beterbiev was rumored to be facing Najee Lopez before the Nicholson fight was made.
Nicholson lost to Efetobor Apochi in 2021, but has otherwise been undefeated, though has not faced anyone close to the caliber of Beterbiev’s opponents.
Turki Alalshikh has revealed if Beterbiev defeats Nicholson and Benavidez defeats Yarde, a fight between the two could be made next.
David Benavidez went to war against ‘Sweet Hands’ Canelo opponent in 2023
In 2023, Benavidez scored a career-defining win as he endured a battle of two halves against ‘Sweet Hands’ Caleb Plant.
Plant had just one loss to Canelo, who defeated him via 11th-round stoppage to become the first undisputed super-middleweight in history.
At first, ‘Sweet Hands’ seemed ahead, picking up the early rounds, though the midway point saw Benavidez flip the script, overwriting the narrative of the fight and picking Plant apart in the latter half of the bout.
Plant never touched down on the canvas, but was hurt multiple times late in the fight, and lost his shot at the interim title as ‘The Mexican Monster’ made his nightmares come true, as he handed Plant his second loss.
