But in the wake of his defeat, Dubois has once more ditched his head coach, splitting from padman Kieran Farrell, and has already sought out a new team.

And cutting ties with Don Charles, too, Dubois has now broken his silence and revealed plans for his return to the ring.

Infamously splitting from Shane McGuigan two years ago ahead of his first title fight with the above mentioned Usyk in a trip to Poland, Dubois linked up with Charles.
But in the wake of his loss to Usyk, Dubois — who was guided to his career-high knockout win over Anthony Joshua under the tutelage of Charles — has parted ways with the coach.
Announcing plans to make his comeback before too late, Dubois vowed to regain heavyweight spoils and replicate the success of his compatriot Joshua.
” I feel it’s time for a change,” Daniel Dubois wrote on Instagram. “
“A fresh approach for the next phase of my career, as I push forward to become a two-time heavyweight champion of the world, God bless.
“I’ll be making a further announcement regarding my new team structure very soon.”
Daniel Dubois’ torrid run in 2025
Suffering his second career loss via knockout against the dominant Usyk, Dubois likely cannot afford another career-altering moment for the remainder of this year.
Just earlier this year, Dubois was slated to defend his IBF heavyweight crown against perennial contender Joseph Parker in a return to the Middle East.

Fresh from his knockout win over Watford star Joshua, Dubois withdrew from his blockbuster with Parker citing an illness.

Parker would go on to fight Martin Bakole in a dominant second round knockout win, and he is now gunning for a showdown with Usyk later this year.
