Daniel Dubois is preparing for the toughest night of his career as he hopes to become Britain’s first ever four-belt undisputed champion.
Daniel Dubois will take on Oleksandr Usyk in a mega-fight for the undisputed heavyweight crown in Wembley Stadium, London.
Usyk defeated Dubois back in 2023 in Poland, when Dubois quit off a jab after a controversial low blow that many believed was legal.
He has since been on a dominant run of form with wins over Jarrell Miller, Filip Hrgovic, and Anthony Joshua, and has received praise from the last British undisputed champion, and king of the rematches – Lennox Lewis.

Lennox Lewis praises Daniel Dubois ahead of undisputed mega-fight
Lennox Lewis won the undisputed heavyweight championship in 1999 with his win over Evander Holyfield.
Lewis, who obliterated Andrew Golota, was the last undisputed champion until Usyk defeated Tyson Fury to claim the title for himself.
The British-Canadian fighter has also made a name for himself as the king of rematches, with all three of his rematches ending in a big win for Lewis.
In 1994, Lewis was stopped in two rounds by Oliver McCall. Three years later, Lewis stopped McCall in five to claim the vacant WBC world title.
In 1999, Lewis defeated Holyfield to win the undisputed title after their first encounter just months earlier ended in a highly controversial draw.
In 2001, Lewis, who sent Frans Botha through the ropes, was stopped devastatingly by Hasim Rahman, but in their rematch, flipped the script and stopped Rahman in the fourth.
Speaking on Dubois, who will seek to replicate Rahman’s success in rematches, Lewis, who beat Vitali Klitschko, said,
“I love his attitude. I love his demeanor. I love his focus, and you know, the fact he actually went out there and did it. He has been through some trials and tribulations and has recovered from that. […] He has heart. He has a lot of desire, and he went out and proved it to a lot of non-believers.”

Though a fantasy fight between the two will never happen, it’s interesting to compare the two Brits.
