Early in his boxing career, it seemed Daniel Dubois was destined for huge success in the ring.
Set to return to action this weekend, Dubois will put his IBF heavyweight crown on the line. Competing for the undisputed heavyweight title, too, Dubois will rematch Oleksandr Usyk atop the bill at Wembley Stadium in another outing on home soil.

A hellacious knockout puncher who has finished 21 fights, early in his career, Dubois planted the seeds for his fantastic finishing rate, with a brutal knockout stoppage.
Daniel Dubois stopped British foe David Howe in just 40 seconds
Beginning his career with a 15-fight unbeaten record, Dubois would run through a host of his fellow countrymen with relative ease in the past decade.
And in a showcase win, Dubois fought former top prospect David Howe in his native London.
Featuring at the Copper Box Arena, Dubois felled and stopped Howe inside just 40 seconds with a devastating KO victory.
Connecting big with a huge overhand shot, Dubois rattled Howe’s cage, sending him to the canvas instantly.
And landing himself massive props following another standout finish after he stopped former super heavyweight Olympian, Blaise Yepmou in two rounds, Dubois was backed to reach the very pinnacle of the sport.

Finding himself on the receiving end of Dubois’ patented power, Howe was full of praise for the then-prospect.
Impressed by the Londoner despite falling to his powerful shots, Howe insisted that the ceiling for Dubois’ career was quite lofty — insisting he could reach the top of the sport.
“All the way, definitely,” Howe told Kit Locker when asked how far Daniel Dubois could go in the ring. “Daniel’s a good fighter. He’s definitely a phenomenal athlete.
“At such a young age — he’s awesome,” Howe explained. “He seems like a nice guy as well.”
And with the chance to go all the way to the top this weekend, Dubois has already secured world title gold.
Previously stopping Anthony Joshua with a brutal knockout in September, Dubois looks to avenge his prior loss to Usyk this weekend in the capital.
