Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn will finally go toe-to-toe in what is a hotly anticipated Middleweight bout at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Eubank Jr and Benn were originally supposed to face off way back in October 2022 at the O2 Arena in London, and after a lengthy wait the pair will now renew a decades old family rivalry on April 26 in what promises to be one of the biggest fights of 2025 in the UK.
As the current IBO Middleweight champion, Eubank Jr has been installed as the heavy favorite to win the fight in north London. The 35-year-old will be aiming to do what his father did back in 1990 in Chris Eubank Sr vs Nigel Benn 1, and earn an emphatic win over Conor Benn.
While the underdog for the fight, Conor Benn does boast an impressive unbeaten record. To date, Benn has won all 23 of his professional fights, with 14 coming via knockout.
Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming bout.

Eubank Jr vs Benn full fight card
There are plenty of familiar faces set to fight on April 26 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
In the Light Heavyweight division, Anthony Yarde and Lyndon Arthur will complete a trilogy of fights between the pair. Arthur won the first fight back in 2020 via a split decision, before Yarde evened things up with an emphatic KO win at the Copper Box Arena in 2021. Having recently lost a title fight to Arthur Beterbiev, Yarde will be hoping that another win over Arthur will help him climb back up the Light Heavyweight rankings.

Fresh off the back of a duo of fights with Eubank Jr – one he won and won he lost – Liam Smith will be back in action on April 26 too, going up against rising Irish talent Aaron McKenna.
Here’s the full card:
- Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn – Middleweight
- Anthony Yarde vs Lyndon Arthur – Light Heavyweight
- Liam Smith vs Aaron McKenna – Middleweight
- Chris Billam-Smith vs Brandon Glanton – Cruiserweight
- Viddal Riley vs Cheavon Clarke – Cruiserweight
Why Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn was cancelled in 2022
Fans have had to wait an extra two-and-a-half years for this highly-anticipated fight thanks to Conor Benn’s two failed drugs tests in 2022.
The British boxer tested positive for the banned substance clomifene, leading to his British boxing license being revoked and being banned from boxing by UK Anti-Doping.
Benn’s ban was eventually lifted in November 2024, thus allowing the Eubank Jr fight to finally be confirmed.
Chris Eubank Jr fined £100,000 after hitting Conor Benn with an egg
If the first pre-fight press conference was anything to go by, we can expect quite a heated bout between Eubank Jr and Benn on April 26.
After some feisty exchanges on the microphone, when the pair came face to face in the center of the stage Eubank Jr smashed an egg in Benn’s face before security pulled the two away from one another.
Eubank Jr has since been heavily admonished for the incident, being forced to pay a whopping £100,000 fine which he called “absolutely eggstortionate” on his X account.
Chris Eubank and Nigel Benn rivalry
The main reason why the Eubank Jr vs Benn fight has captured the attention of so many boxing fans, is because it’s an extension of the legendary Chris Eubank Sr – Nigel Benn rivalry which defined the boxing scene in the UK in the early 1990s.

The pair’s rivalry was borne out across two fights, a fiery contract signing broadcast live on television, and even an awkward run-in during the filming of Gladiator.
Eubank Sr won the first fight of the rivalry, earning the most impressive victory of his career via TKO in 1990. The second encounter between the pair at Old Trafford ended in a controversial draw, with Eubank admitting in later years that he would’ve lost the fight had Benn not been deducted a point for a low blow.
