Conor Benn will get a chance to avenge his loss to Chris Eubank Jr. when the pair meet in a rematch in London in September.
Although a venue is not yet confirmed for the bout, it is understood that the British rivals will compete in another middleweight bout, with the same rehydration clause.
Eubank Jr. missed weight by a fraction for their first meeting, but will aim to hit the scales within the middleweight limit for their sequel.
Although Benn already knows what needs to be improved to win the rematch, one British fighter is picking ‘The Destroyer’ to emerge victorious.

Hamzah Sheeraz is predicting Conor Benn to get revenge on Chris Eubank Jr.
Gearing up for his super middleweight debut against Edgar Berlanga, Hamzah Sheeraz gave his opinion on his fellow countrymen’s rematch later this year.
Speaking to The Stomping Ground, Sheeraz (21-0-1) was asked for his opinion on the upcoming sequel between Eubank Jr. and Benn.
“It’s an interesting one,” Sheeraz said. “I think Conor Benn will get the win. I think he gets the win.”
In terms of why, Sheeraz feels that the weight restrictions and Eubank Jr.’s age will be a factor. “I feel like Eubank Jr. doing that [the weight cut] all again, it’s not like he’s young and his body can recover from it.”
“His body wouldn’t have recovered from what happened to him the last time in terms of the weight cut, and that fight as well.
“It took a lot out of him. Took a lot out of both of them, but I feel like Conor Benn will probably get the stoppage this time.”
Sheeraz said that he feels the weight cut ‘affected Eubank Jr. in the fight, despite getting the unanimous decision victory. He then added, “I can’t see it going any other way than a Conor Benn knockout victory.”
Chris Eubank Jr. has only been stopped once in his 14-year career
If Benn were able to knock out his bitter rival, he would be just the second man to stop Eubank Jr.
In his last loss, Liam Smith was able to stop Eubank Jr., scoring two knockdowns in the process. The bout took place in January 2023, as Eubank Jr. had a six-fight winning streak snapped.
Following the stoppage loss, Eubank Jr. was able to get revenge on Smith, delivering his own knockout blow to the fighter eight months later.
A knockout win for Benn would be the 15th of his professional career. The last stoppage win for the 28-year-old came in 2022, when Benn stopped Chris van Heerden with a second-round TKO.
