Carl Froch has questioned Anthony Joshua’s ‘desire’ after the former unified heavyweight champion was knocked out by Daniel Dubois.
Joshua suffered a fifth-round knockout loss to Dubois and failed in his attempt to become a three-time heavyweight world champion.
AJ had the chance to join legends such as Muhammad Ali, Evander Holyfield and Lennox Lewis in this feat yet was dominated by Dubois from start to finish.
Dubois, 27, manhandled Joshua throughout and dropped his former sparring partner four times.

Carl Froch implies Anthony Joshua showed a lack of heart against Daniel Dubois
Despite rising from the canvas multiple times, Froch thinks Joshua didn’t give his all against Dubois.
In a video posted on Froch on Fighting, he said: “This is the problem when you get the silk pyjamas, you don’t want it anymore. I question Joshua’s desire to be in that ring anymore.
“AJ went down face first, a** in the air with a little break dance move. Come on, I’m not being horrible, but that’s no way for a soldier to go out.”
Joshua’s only real success came in the fifth round when he staggered Dubois with a right hand.
AJ then tried to land a right uppercut yet Dubois connected with a straight right first and dropped Joshua heavily.
The referee counted Joshua out while the former champion desperately tried to get to his feet.

What’s next for Anthony Joshua?
Joshua now has a professional record of 28 wins and four losses.
In the lead-up to the Dubois fight, Joshua and promoter Eddie Hearn spoke openly about attempting to become undisputed at heavyweight.
However, Dubois has scuppered these hopes and AJ might be forced to rebuild his confidence by taking on lesser opposition.
In the post-fight press conference, Joshua confirmed he will not retire from boxing.
Therefore, another possibility is a rematch with Dubois, depending on what happens in the rematch between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk on December 21.
