Carl Froch has launched a verbal attack on Anthony Joshua in a viral video after the pair were involved in a heated conversation over text messages.
Carl Froch and Anthony Joshua have always had an icy relationship ever since Joshua decided to part ways with Froch’s long-time trainer Rob McCracken back in 2022.
The heavyweight increased the tension between the two when playing the word association game in a viral video last week.
Joshua was asked what word he associates with the former champion and surprised everyone when he replied: “Pr***.”
Now Froch has taken to X to respond and deliver a cold rant about the former heavyweight champion.

Carl Froch goes on huge rant about Anthony Joshua in viral video
Froch was angered by Joshua and took to X to reveal a heated conversation over text messages between the two.
Froch initiated the exchange by sending: “Who the f*** are you calling a pr***?!”
Joshua responded: “Because …. I think you are,” to which the retired fighter then questioned him: “Why?”
The iconic heavyweight’s reply was blunt: “I just do.”
Froch didn’t like that response: “Well do something about it then b****!”
Joshua then hit back by posting a video of him displaying an expensive watch and banknotes, saying: “Get on my level.”
Froch then took to X to release a response and launch a full-blown attack on the former heavyweight champion.
“You’ve got £10 and £20 notes rolled out on your bed. ‘Levels, it’s all about levels.’ Where’s the humble guy gone? He says I’m not on his level. He’s talking about money. Fair play to him, he’s made a fortune, he’s smashed it.
“Let’s talk about levels in terms of legacy and fights and career wins. A little fat kid from Mexico made him quit for f*** sake. He’s quit on his feet, that is embarrassing. Something ‘The Cobra’ would never ever do.”
Eddie Hearn hits back at Carl Froch’s comments about Anthony Joshua
One man who doesn’t agree with Froch’s comments about Joshua’s legacy in the sport is his promoter Eddie Hearn.
Hearn promoted both fighters during their careers and delivered big nights at Wembley Stadium for both men.
The promoter was asked about his thoughts on the video released by Froch in a recent interview and defended his star man Joshua.
Hearn told IFL TV: “I really disagree with Carl [Froch] about [Joshua] and his resume, his achievements. Even if you take what he’s done for the sport and how he’s changed the face of the sport in the country, but his actual resume on paper I think is really good.
“If he beats Daniel Dubois to become three-time champion, he’s one fight from becoming undisputed. If he becomes undisputed he probably goes down as one of the greatest British fighters of all time.”
