Broadcasters forced to apologize for Tyson Fury’s x-rated comments during interview

A broadcaster was forced to apologize for Tyson Fury’s x-rated comments during an interview on Saturday night.

Fury was at Wembley Stadium to watch Anthony Joshua vs Daniel Dubois’ heavyweight title clash, where the winner is likely to face whoever comes out on top in the rematch between the ‘Gypsy King’ and Oleksandr Usyk in December.

The Manchester-born fighter was one of many star names present, including Terence Crawford and Conor McGregor to watch the IBF heavyweight clash, but Fury’s comments sparked some controversy.

DAZN and TNT Sports forced to apologize for Tyson Fury’s x-rated outburst

With Fury watching on in anticipation of facing Joshua and Dubois in the future, the 36-year-old was asked by the media if he was looking forward to the fight.

Speaking to DAZN, Fury admitted he’d rather be at home before providing an awkward assessment of how the evening would go.

“It’s good to be here watching the boxing, ringside, watching the fights,” he said.

“But, it’s better at home, watching it on tele if I’m honest!

“I could have a few Diet Coke’s, a couple of sandwiches, kissing my wife [Paris], better – a lot better!

“They’re going to knock the little s*** out of each other. It’s going to be a good fight I’m looking forward to it.”

Ade Oladipo was then forced to apologize for any offence caused by the comments before TNT Sports were later forced to say sorry after he claimed he would be thinking “Go in, get paid, get laid,” if he was AJ or Dubois.

Tyson and Tommy Fury receive mixed reaction from Wembley Stadium crowd

Fury was also joined by younger brother Tommy ringside at Wembley and both were pictured on the big screen in front of the 96,000 fans there to watch Joshua vs Dubois.

Unsurprisingly, the ‘Gypsy King’ was met with huge cheers from the crowd whereas Tommy was met with a chorus of boos.

The former Love Island winner, who recently announced his split from Molly Mae Hague, took the boos in good faith.

Both will be watching on with keen interest to see how the fight plays out.
