Devin Haney will face Jose Ramirez in Times Square in his first fight since facing Ryan Garcia over a year ago.
Devin Haney holds a record of 31-0, though many consider it 31-1 after his most recent outing against Ryan Garcia.
The bout saw Haney touch down on the canvas three times, but Garcia’s majority decision win was soon overturned when it was revealed Garcia had used PEDs. Oscar De La Hoya has said the Garcia loss is one Haney will never recover from.
Garcia and Haney will both feature on a card in Times Square, with the much-anticipated rematch on the cards if both men beat their opponents.

Devin Haney mocks Gabe Rosado after he claims Jose Ramirez will cause an upset
Gabriel Rosado stated he believes Ramirez was the wrong opponent for Haney to choose in his comeback fight, and that he’s leaning towards picking Ramirez to win their fight.
Ramirez has been beaten twice, once by Josh Taylor, who Harlem Eubank would like to fight next, and most recently by Arnold Barboza Jr.
Haney was not best pleased with Rosado’s comments, blasting him on X stating:
“Gabe Rosado has 17 losses.. took beating after beating brain cells are gone..”
Rosado’s record is 26-17-1, and he has faced high-level talents such as Daniel Jacobs, Jaime Munguia, and Jermell Charlo, as well as pound-for-pound elites such as Gennadiy Golovkin, one of the best amateur boxers of all time.
He retired in 2023.
Devin Haney found himself on the same flight as Teofimo Lopez
Though Haney is set to face Ramirez, a future match-up is possible with Teofimo Lopez, who is also on the card.
Lopez, 21-1, will face Barboza Jr. who recently defeated Jack Catterall for the interim world title. If Garcia loses his fight, which is set against Rolly Romero, it’s possible Lopez and Haney will fight instead.
Both Haney and Lopez seem to have been returning home from their press conference for the May event, and, in a bizarre turn of events, found themselves not only on the same flight, but in the very same row.
