Boxing legend makes bold prediction for Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk rematch

A boxing legend has made a bold prediction ahead of the huge rematch between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk.

Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk fought in one of the most highly anticipated fights ever for the undisputed heavyweight championship earlier this year.

Fury started the contest well earning himself an early lead but Usyk finished strong, dropping his man and taking a points victory.

The pair are set to run back the encounter in December and Ricky Hatton has made a huge prediction about the rematch.

Ricky Hatton makes huge prediction about Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk rematch

Ricky Hatton helped train Fury for his comeback to the ring when the heavyweight weighed nearly 30 stone after his victory over Wladimir Klitschko.

Hatton believes that Fury may be coming to the end and if he suffers defeat to Usyk then he should hang up the gloves.

Hatton told JNMEDIAUK: “I think that he might just be coming to the end.

“There’s a few miles on the clock now for Tyson [Fury], he lost 10 stone in weight and he come back and did what he did incredibly.

“I think there might just be signs that it might just be time to hang them up now. If he gets beat by Usyk I’d like to see him hang them up and sit on his sofa and enjoy what he’s worked so hard for.”

Fury is known for his remarkable speed and movement for such a big man, but that all changed against Usyk.

The heavyweight didn’t look himself and for the first time in his long professional career, showed signs of ageing.

Fury will have to rewind the clock in the rematch and somehow show the speed and movement that made him such a formidable opponent.
