Boxing fans react to ‘amazing’ Artur Beterbiev vs. Dmitry Bivol poster

We’re officially less than a month from one of the highest-profile rematches in modern boxing history.

Artur Beterbiev vs. Dmitry Bivol was about as close as it gets for an undisputed light heavyweight title fight. Despite Beterbiev getting the majority nod, fans were foaming at the mouth for a rematch, hoping for a more conclusive result the second time.

With its bottomless pockets, the Saudi boxing machine has enabled this opportunity as Beterbiev and Bivol square off on one of the greatest boxing cards of the decade on February 22. The rematch comes four months after the first fight, which is an unprecedented pace for such a high-profile fight.

The marketing is also living up to the hype.

Fans react to Beterbiev vs. Bivol ‘The Last Crescendo’ poster

Shared by Ring Magazine on X on January 28, a new poster for Beterbiev-Bivol 2 shows the two boxers swinging punches at each other in a Renaissance art-style painting.

Fan sentiment is positive, with one user branding it ‘dope’ in the replies.

“They should start selling these posters,” Another user wrote.

There were plenty of fire emojis.

“Amazing poster,” One fan concluded.

One fan quote-tweeted, “Love the marketing of Riyadh Season cards.”

Dmitry Bivol compares punching power between Artur Beterbiev and Canelo Alvarez

Bivol would rank Canelo Alvarez as having more one-punch power than Beterbiev, despite the Canadian-Russian fighter having a 100 percent finish rate when they fought.

“Maybe with single punches Canelo is harder than Beterbiev,” Bivol told FightHub.

Bivol snapped Canelo’s 16-fight unbeaten streak when they clashed in 2022. The fight was a lopsided affair for Canelo, who could do nothing more than wing hooks at Bivol’s guard. His movement and large frame were also an issue for the smaller Canelo.

Bivol can upset the oddsmakers again when he rematches Beterbiev for undisputed world gold on February 22.
