Eddie Hearn has revealed that a British grudge match that rocked the boxing world will get a second instalment in as little as a few months from now.
On the 26th of April, the boxing world saw a huge spectacle as two blood rivals fought to settle the score for their family name.
Eddie Hearn has today revealed that the blockbuster grudge match will see a rematch this year, and fans won’t have to wait much longer.

Conor Benn and Chris Eubank Jr. rematch gets a date
In an interview with The Stomping Ground, Eddie Hearn has revealed that Conor Benn vs Chris Eubank Jr. will rematch, and that there is now two possible dates for the British banger.
In the first fight, fans were treated to a war for family honor as Eubank Jr. made the score 2-0 for the Eubanks against the Benns, extending the legacy his father created against Nigel Benn many years ago.
The rematch will happen at the same venue as last time, the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, though the fight may be entirely different, as Eubank will enter with newfound confidence, whilst Benn, who was glad to see Eubank Jr. and Sr. reunite, has even more of a reason to get revenge.
Hearn said the potential dates for the fight are September 20th or October 4th, stating: “It’s down to His Excellency, we’ve all been talking the last 24 hours and I’m sure we’ll announce the date for Eubank Benn shortly.”
Eubank Jr. will fight Canelo if he beats Benn again, promised Turki Alalshikh.
Chris Eubank Jr. will appear before the board for dangerous weight-cut
Ahead of his fight with Benn, fans were concerned for Eubank Jr.’s health as he seemed to undergo a nasty and difficult weight cut, including use of a sauna suit, something that is prohibited by the British Board of Boxing Control.

As a result, Eubank Jr. will be forced to stand before the board to address his weight-cutting methods, and may face a penalty for them.
Despite his efforts, Eubank Jr. did not make weight for the fight originally and was fined for the error.
