Ben Whittaker has lashed out at a wall following his highly dramatic and controversial draw with Liam Cameron on the undercard of Artur Beterbiev vs Dmitry Bivol.
The social media sensation was immediately catapulted into his most fiercely-contested bout as a professional, before seemingly suffering a foot injury.
It was during the fifth round when Whittaker was pressed up against the ropes by his opponent, with the pair then tumbling out of the ring in shocking fashion.
But then, after the bizarre incident transpired, the 27-year-old was forced to withdraw from the contest, exiting the Kingdom Arena in Saudi Arabia on a wheelchair.

Whittaker entered his ninth professional dustup as an overwhelming favorite, after cultivating a polarizing reputation through his dazzling skills and audacious showmanship.
The Olympic silver medallist never seemed to find his rhythm against Cameron, though, as the highly-touted prospect struggled to negate the aggression of his opponent.
And so, following an abrupt end to their encounter, Cameron was convinced he had done enough to win.
Yet, when the result of their bout was decided by the judges, the 33-year-old was forced to take a draw, with just one judge scoring it 58-57 in his favor.
But still, it seemed that Cameron was not the only frustrated fighter, as Whittaker seemingly punched a hole in a backstage wall before being rushed off to hospital.

Whittaker has been mocked by several fans on social media, with one claiming that the backstage incident was the “best punch he landed.”

Others, however, have opined that the light heavyweight intentionally withdrew from the contest.
One fan said: “He’s mad that he got a draw? They did him a favor by doing that. He quit. He should be happy that his plan worked and he gets to remain undefeated.”
