Anthony Joshua receives huge pay cheque from Daniel Dubois defeat
Defeat is another bitter blow for AJ after working so hard to recover from his last defeat to Oleksandr Usyk in 2022.
But on a lighter note for Joshua, the huge heavyweight clash at Wembley Stadium secured him a major payday.
According to Sporty Salaries, Joshua is expected to take home a minimum of $8m, however, that could rise to $33.3m depending on pay-per-view sales.
As for his opponent, Dubois will also receive a handsome pay cheque, earning a guaranteed figure of $4.6m that could rise to $13.6m.
The reason why Joshua is expected to earn more, despite being the challenger in the fight, is due to his popularity in the sport.
