Floyd Mayweather became a five-weight world champion and retired at 50-0 in 2017.
Floyd Mayweather began his career as a super-featherweight, and worked his way up to super-welterweight, defeating champion after champion in the process.
In his second big jump, he was left seeking a super-lightweight title in 2004, when Mayweather breezed past DeMarcus Corley before jumping into a title eliminator against a 21-2-1 foe.

Floyd Mayweather was too much for Henry Bruseles
In 2005, Mayweather faced Henry Bruseles in a WBC title eliminator. Bruseles had lost twice, once in a close majority decision and the other in a fight that was stopped due to a cut Bruseles sustained.
The fight was largely one-sided, as an impressive Mayweather continued to demonstrate his ability despite being in the higher weight class.

Mayweather forced a standing eight-count on Bruseles in the eighth round, and finished him off as he stepped back into the fray.
After the fight, according to BoxRec, Mayweather said of his measured approach: “I knew I was going to drown [Bruseles] in deep water eventually.”
Floyd Mayweather scored just 3 KO’s in his final 10 years in the sport
Despite having 13 fights in his last ten years, and winning all of them, including bouts with Oscar De La Hoya, Marcos Maidana (who wears Mayweather’s tooth on a necklace), and Canelo, Mayweather won just three by stoppage:
2007 – Ricky Hatton – TKO10
2011 – Victor Ortiz – KO4
2017 – Conor McGregor – TKO10
