World champion who fought Oleksandr Usyk called out Jake Paul with hilarious diss track

Jake Paul has shaken the boxing world, with many high-profile champions calling out the former YouTuber for a big-money fight, some in more creative ways than others.

Jake Paul entered the boxing world properly on the undercard of Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr.‘s exhibition contest, where he knocked out former-basketball player, Nate Robinson.

Though many watch his fights hoping he’ll lose, it’s clear his presence in boxing generates serious attention and profit.

As a result, it’s no wonder the likes of Daniel Dubois, Carl Froch, Andre Ward, and even Artur Beterbiev, are calling him out, but one man took his call-out to the next level.

Oleksandr Usyk’s toughest foe launched diss track in a bid to secure Jake Paul fight

In 2022, Oleksandr Usyk‘s former foe, Mairis Briedis, issued a diss track for Paul in a bid to secure the big money fight.

In the track, Briedis comes out with hilarious lyrics such as: “Looks like you have little monkey balls”, and assures Paul he will win after a round of playing with the internet sensation:

“I play with you one round, then I knock you out. / I will show the world that your fights was set up. / I punch you so hard that you won’t be able to get up.”

The Latvian, who lost to Usyk on a majority decision in the semi-final of the World Boxing Super Series tournament, took things a step further and Briedis got a tattoo to call out Paul.

It seems that Briedis’ time would’ve been better spent preparing for his next opponent rather than calling out Paul, as he lost his world title to Jai Opetaia in their fight that same year. The pair rematched in 2024, but the result was the same.

Jake Paul’s responded in unique fashion to Daniel Dubois callout

Paul’s last fight saw him defeat Mike Tyson in Netflix’s first foray into boxing. Following his win, reigning heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois sent him the following message:

“Good business on the weekend but how would you feel fighting for the legitimate heavyweight championship of the world this is Daniel Dubois calling you out let’s get it on.”

Paul responded on X with an image of a queue number machine and just three words: “Get in line.”

It is unclear who he will fight next, but a recent callout of Anthony Joshua, who beat Tyson Fury in sparring, indicates it will be huge whoever it is.

Paul has lost only to Tommy Fury, though Fury claims his brother broke his ribs in training, causing the original date to be postponed.
