Tyrrell Herndon’s next fight

Tyrrell’s next fight is against former world heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder at the Charles Koch Arena in Wichita, Kansas, on Friday, June 27.

This is Wilder’s first fight since Zhilei Zhang knocked out the “Bronze Bomber” in June 2024, adding to his unimpressive record of 4 losses in 5 matches in recent years.

Herndon will be hoping to make a name for himself by knocking out the former champion, but he will be the underdog in this fight.

Tyrrell Herndon named Deontay Wilder as his dream fight

While they are currently prepared to go to war on June 27, Herndon will be delighted to step into the ring with the former world champion.

In an exclusive interview with Bloody Knockout, Wilder revealed that he met Herndon 6 years ago, where the challenger admitted it was his dream to face him.

“I think six years ago, we met each other, and his dream was always to fight me. Look what it is now, he gets the opportunity.” Wilder said.

“I get the opportunity as well because I’m building myself, and I think I’m back where I need to be, if not stronger than I’ve ever been in my life.

“I’m so much freer rather than having a load hold me down. I couldn’t rise and elevate to the next level because certain people who I thought loved me were around me.

“Here I am, it’s time to brush myself off because I’ve been down too long. I’m so much happier, I have so much more joy in my life, and I have peace.

“I’m just ready to get back out here and do what I love to do and what I know that I can do, and give the fans something to see.

“I’m looking forward to the fight. I’ve never been to Kansas, but I’m looking forward to making my grand entrance. We’re gonna have a motherf—— amazing time.”

The pair will face off on June 27 in the biggest fight of Tyrrell’s career.
