Madrimov would take on Magomed Kurbanov in March of 2024. The two would compete for the WBA World Super Welterweight title in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Although Kurabnov would come into the bout with a professional record of 25-0, a career-best performance from Madrimov would earn him the victory.
As the fight entered the fifth round, Madrimov began to hurt his opponent, landing clean right hands on Kurbanov. Eventually, the referee saw enough and Madrimov was declared the winner.

Madrimov would take on Michel Soro for the first time in December of 2021. Although the first fight was competitive, Madrimov would show his quality in round nine, as a barrage of punches left Soro in a bad position, with the referee waving off the fight.
The two would rematch in July of the following year, with a more unorthodox ending. Following a clash of heads in the third round, Soro would begin to bleed significantly from his head. Due to the extent of the cut, the fight was stopped and the bout was declared a technical draw.
