Four years before the Hatton bout, Al Dah fought for what many assumed to be the last time when he took on Pedro Delgado in Mexico City.
The fight, on July 30, 2021, ended in a first-round knockout defeat for the Arabian Warrior. The older fighter looked unimpressive in the bout, struggling to connect with much and looking sluggish throughout the first round.
Delgado rocked him with a left hook in the first round, before knocking him down with a flurry of shots against the ropes. Al Dah struggled to reach his feet by the count of ten, and the referee awarded Delgado the knockout win in the first round.
