His next test is on 22 February 2025, when he will rematch Dmitry Bivol in the main event of ‘The Last Crescendo,’ defending his undisputed light heavyweight titles and Ring Magazine belt.

Artur Beterbiev was born on 21 January 1985, making him 40 at the current time of writing.
He is married to his Russian-born wife, Medina, and the couple has four children.

As an amateur, the Russian-Canadian is rumored to have competed more than 300 times, including the 2008 and 2012 Olympics, losing to Oleksandr Usyk in the latter. However, his confirmed record is 85-10, with 37 knockout wins and one knockout loss.

Artur Beterbiev vs Dmitry Bivol
Beterbiev and Bivol were initially supposed to face each other on 1 June 2024 for the undisputed WBA light heavyweight title. Still, they were forced to postpone after Beterbiev pulled out on 3 May 2024 due to injury.
Malik Zinad was forced to step in and replace the Russian-born fighter, with Beterbiev agreeing to fight Bivol should he emerge victorious.
Bivol kept his end of the bargain, and the two met in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Saturday, October 12, 2024. Beterbiev emerged victorious with a majority decision, and they rematch at ‘The Last Crescendo’ on February 22, 2025.

Artur Beterbiev vs Callum Smith
The WBC ordered Beterbiev to defend his belt against Smith on 15 March 2023, but after the two disagreed on terms, a purse bid won by Top Rank was put in motion.
Initially penciled in for 19 August 2023, the fight was postponed just two weeks before it was due to take place after the Russian-born fighter was forced to undergo jaw surgery.
They eventually met on 13 January 2024, with Beterbiev claiming victory by a seventh-round technical knockout in Quebec City, Canada.
Artur Beterbiev vs Anthony Yarde
On this occasion, Beterbiev was ordered to defend his WBO light-heavyweight title against the then-number one contender Anthony Yarde.
Their 19 August 2022 date was rescheduled after Beterbiev suffered an unknown injury, but a rearranged date of 28 January 2023 was set.
Beterbiev won the fight with an eighth-round stoppage after he caught Yarde with a counter right hook as the British fighter tried to see him with an uppercut.
Despite being allowed to continue by the referee, Yarde’s corner threw in the towel seconds later to halt the bout.
Artur Beterbiev vs Joe Smith Jr
The 18 June 2022 fight, scheduled in New York City, was one of Beterbiev’s best performances. It was chosen to take place in the summer of 2022 because Beterbiev was unable to compete due to participating in Ramadan.
After dropping Joe Smith Jr three times in the opening two rounds to claim victory by second-round technical knockout to unify three of the four light-heavyweight belts.
