Tyson Fury may not return to boxing after his losses to Usyk, but he has certainly given the sport countless unforgettable moments.
Tyson Fury announced his retirement following his second loss to Oleksandr Usyk, and has been fairly quiet on social media since.
Though some believe Fury will eventually return to face domestic rival Anthony Joshua, it’s likely this will never happen, especially since Joshua battered Fury in sparring, according to ‘The Gypsy King’ himself.
Another person who had some success against Fury in sparring, albeit because he let him, is Stevie McKenna.

Tyson Fury urges Steve McKenna to break his ribs
In some sparring footage from a few years ago, now 15-1 Stevie McKenna, a super welterweight, can be seen going at it against the heavyweight Brit.
Fury, who was beaten by David Price as an amateur, seems to be using the light-hearted spar as a means of conditioning himself against body shots, while McKenna is engaging in target practice on the Morecambe man.
Fury can be heard encouraging the prospect, telling him: “Break a f—— rib!”
McKenna has just one loss on his record, which came in his latest fight with Lee Cutler.
Stevie McKenna’s brother lands huge fight on Benn Eubank undercard
McKenna, who is promoted by Fury’s former promoter Mick Hennessy, is not the only boxer in his family, and his younger brother, Aaron, is set for the biggest fight of his career on the undercard of Conor Benn vs Chris Eubank Jr. Benn spoke on the Eubank fight almost ten years ago.
Aaron McKenna is 19-0 with his last win being a tenth-round KO over Jeovanny Estela in the now-axed Prizefighter middleweight tournament in Japan.
He is set to face Liam Smith in his next outing in what will be a big step up in opposition. Smith hasn’t fought since September 2023, when he lost to Eubank Jr. in their rematch.
Eubank became the only man other than Canelo Alvarez to stop Smith.
