Tyson Fury is coming off consecutive losses to pound-for-pound great Oleksandr Usyk, but some resurfaced footage shows why ‘The Gypsy King’ is a favorite of so many.
Tyson Fury‘s record took a second hit in December last year when the Ukrainian Usyk claimed two consecutive wins over ‘The Gypsy King’.
The Morecambe man has since retired, though this is not the first time he’s done so, and fans still wait with bated breath for him to return in a domestic blockbuster against Anthony Joshua, who was criticized heavily after calling Lennox Lewis a clown.
If he is truly retired, Fury has given fans a career full of great moments, with one viral clip resurfacing, showing the heavyweight power of the Gypsy giant.

Tyson Fury knocks ceiling down with powerful punches
In the clip posted to X, Fury, whose cousin Hughie Fury will face Dan Garber in an extension of the Fury Garber rivalry, can be seen working away at the heavy bag, before all of a sudden the ceiling panels above it collapse after a flurry of punches.
Fury’s team comment: “What a way to end the training camp”
All the while, a fire alarm is sounding in the background as a result of the chaos.
The incident happened as the Brit prepared to face Deontay Wilder, who once chased Billy Joe Saunders out of a Nandos, once again. Fury handed Wilder two stoppage losses in their barn-burner trilogy.
Tyson Fury backs his friend to do what he couldn’t against Oleksandr Usyk
Since retiring, Fury has been fairly quiet on social media, but returned recently following the WBO ordering Usyk to defend his title against Joseph Parker, Fury’s campmate and friend.
In a post on Instagram, Fury wrote: “About time as well, give Joseph Parker his shot!”
Fury hopes his fellow heavyweight can do what he couldn’t, as Usyk has beaten Fury, Joshua, and Daniel Dubois.
Usyk became the second undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis, whilst Parker is coming off a string of victories over Wilder, Zhilei Zhang, and Martin Bakole.
